Soquel Falls to Mills 9–1 Soquel dropped a 9-1 decision Friday, falling behind early and unable to recover. Ellie Howell drove in the Knights’ lone run, while leadoff hitter Emma Niizawa led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance as Soquel finished with three hits. Katelyn Corlett got the start in the circle, with Hailey Leimas and Ellie Howell also seeing time as the Knights searched for answers. After a hot start to the season, Soquel will look to regroup moving forward.
