Carlmont surged ahead in the fourth, stringing together four runs behind a walk, sacrifice bunt, and run-scoring hits from Clara Pachetti and Abby Maher. Watsonville answered immediately in the bottom half as Taylor Alves-Lopez delivered a two-run double and later came home on a steal of home to reclaim the lead.
