				| The Sharks came out and gave a defensive clinic in the first half to defending state champions Pinewood, trailing by only 3 and allowing only 1 three point basket to a team that ives by the three.  The Panthers came out in the third quarter and scred 23 on the Sharks using 5 different scorers.  The fourth quarter was by far the best defensive effort of the Sharks all year, limiting to pinewood to one 3 pt basket and 3 free throws. The Sharks were led by Jr. Annette Ruvalcaba who had a game high 14 points, Sophomore Katherine Brown Had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks, Sophomore Rochelle Welsh had 8 pts, 9 rebounds and  2 steals and Senior Erin Laverone had 4 points for the Sharks. |
