| In their final game in the Watsonville tournament the Salinas High girls soccer team faced Watsonville High to determine 3rd and 4th place in Bracket 1. After two 40 minute halves and two 5 minute overtimes, the score remained 0-0. Salinas High recorded 13 shots, Katie Chin lead the team with 6, Raquel Daniel had 3 and Natalia Magna-Garcia, Emilie Costa and Melissa Chin all had 1. Goal keeper, Xochitl Camacho-Lopez, recorded six saves. Salinas High captured 3rd place by making four of their five penalty kicks. Players who scored on penalty kicks were Amara Clayton, Raquel Daniel, Katie Chin and Cynthia Camacho. Goal keeper, Xochitl Camacho-Lopez, was able to stop two of Watsonville's PK's. |
