Miguel Mendez responded for Palma in the 23 minute when he took a through ball from Branden Werner, dribbled across the top of the box and lofted a ball over the keeper from 25 yards to make it 1-1 at the half. Louis Sanchez scored for Monterey to open the 2nd half and Miguel Mendez converted a penalty kick 4 minutes later to tie it at 2. The remainder of the match was a defensive struggle for Palma. Palma, 6-4-2 (10-6-3), finishes the season in 2nd place in the MBL-P and finishes with 10 wins for the first time since 2009.
