Week 4 Notes and Key Stats

Throughout the season we'll track how the Monterey Bay Area leagues stack up to each other and to the rest of the section.

Week 4 By The Numbers

Carmel and Greenfield combined for 1005 yards of offense in a 62-39 Padre victory. The game featured:

Getting off to a fast start: Gilroy has scored 70 1st quarter points. A distant second in 1st quarter scoring is Scotts Valley with 35 points.

The T-CAL is now a combined 12-3 vs. quad-league area opponents. All 3 losses were handed to North Salinas by the SCCAL.

The top 5 takeaway leaders have a combined record of 17-2-1.

The top 5 stingiest scoring defenses have a combined record of 19-0-1.
